By Bobby Walsh (The Real King Bob), Weekender Correspondent Jan 16 Hi. My name is Bobby Walsh, though most know me as The Real King Bob. I’m a makeup artist at The Sapphire Salon & Spa (247-249 S. Main St., Pittston), a freelance makeup education artist with Stila Cosmetics, and a beauty guru on YouTube (youtube.com/TheRealKingBob). I eat, sleep, and breathe makeup. Now I am able to share my knowledge of fashion and makeup with all of you! Remember – makeup is my life, and I’m here to make it rule yours. What better way to start my first article than with what I love the most – eyebrows! Most people will tell you that, “Eyebrows frame the face,” “Eyebrows are cousins, not twins,” and “Eyebrows are the key to the soul,” and they are right. Well, maybe not the last one. Brows don’t have to be perfect, but they do have to stand out. The face is the first thing people notice, scan, and critique when interacting with each other. I know that when I’m having a conversation with someone, I make eye contact. When I don’t feel 100 percent confident in making eye contact, I stare at their eyebrows. One way to quickly and easily fix your eyebrow situation would be to go to your local salon and spa, and, for an average of around $9, have your eyebrows waxed, tweezed, or threaded. That alone will greatly improve your overall brow appearance. Another way to quickly enhance your brows and keep them in place would be to purchase a clear mascara or brow gel. Using one of these gels will hold your brows’ shape and help keep any random hairs from falling out of place. It gives you a more groomed look without any real maintenance. A few higher-end makeup companies, such as Benefit and Anastasia, have tinted brow gels that color and correct that average $16 to $22. Drugstore brand companies like Revlon, Maybelline, and Cover Girl carry similar items for only $6. Reshaping your own brows plus bi-weekly upkeep will save you that in-salon cost, but it isn’t the easiest of tasks. That is why I am here to help! To start, you will need an eyebrow liner or brown eye shadow with an angled brow brush, a pair of tweezers, and a clean mascara wand. First, take the mascara wand and comb your brows up and out. Second, take your brow color and apply it in an upward and outward motion, following the direction of hair growth starting with the front section of your eyebrow located by the bridge of your nose. Brows should begin right before the inner corner of your eye, the arch should appear right after the iris, and the brow should end about a thumbnail past the outer corner of your eye. You want to make sure your brow mimics that of an obtuse angle with straighter lines – no curved McDonald’s arches (see diagram). It’s also important to maintain a nice thickness – skinny brows are out! The last step would be to tweeze any excess brow that does not fit into the shape you just created. Once you are finished, you can comb through the brow with the clean mascara wand to soften the brow color, and you’re done! I recommend going in and plucking the new hair growth every two weeks before they start interfering with your new perfectly shaped eyebrows.

My eye wont stop twitching, it can be a number of things, Dehydration, stress, bright lights, too much T.V., too much computer, to much squinting, too much caffeine, not enough electrolytes, not enough magnesium & nerves. I have tried a few things like drinking water, drinking Gatorade, eating nuts(magnesium) and taking a few breathers to try to calm down from any elevated stress situations. Its now day 6 and many web M.D. sites have stated doing things that will help alleviate the issue can still take up to 3 weeks to take full effect and fix this twitching problem. so i decided to unload everything i have done for the day into this blog. I figured instead of me trying to process all the information of my day i would put it on here so that i don't have to remember any of it. I started my morning with catching up on season two of Teen Wolf ;) painted my nails with the new Essie Butler Please from the holiday 2012 collection finishing it with the china glaze glow in the dark top coat. Then i showered, got dressed did my hair, put a little pink sugar hair perfume in ( I know, but it smells awesome, if you don't agree i hate you ) and situated everything i was taking in to work like my charger, binder with paperwork, lunch etc. once at work i checked the schedule and updated myself on things that happened before i was there and things that i needed to know for the rest of the day. After all that i got to sending out orders for our annual holiday open house which is right around the corner "Dec. 2nd". I went to lunch and on my lunch i let out my puppy Relais, who decided it wasn't time to go potty even when i stood outside for about 30 mins of my lunch. i headed back to work wrapped up on orders and started creating a teaser flyer for the open house. finally i came home let out my puppy who finally "you know" and now i'm here online breaking the "lower my time on the internet" portion of my mission to stop the eye twitch.. but i already feel a little better and a little less stressed. If anyone has any other ideas or ways they think they can fix me, LET ME KNOW because this is truly annoying! xoxo The Real King Bob I'm always a fan of new products, but one type of product in particular, BODY WASH... till this day i have not found a body wash that i can actually say i loveLOVE... some are too drying, some have so much fragrance my sensitive skin has a reaction, and some dont exfoliate enough... My problem is that i have sensitive skin that needs a strong exfoliation and intense moisture... so i was at ULTA the other day and came across a line for men (and i do believe women) called BILLY JEALOUSY.. i dont typically like products that are geared towards guys, its usually the fragrance im not a fan of, but i did see a body wash that caught my eye.. its called "SALAD DAYS" i googled the term and this is what i came up with: ""Salad days" is an idiomatic expression, referring to a youthful time, accompanied by the inexperience, enthusiasm, idealism, innocence, or indiscretion that one associates with a young person. More modern use, especially in the United States, refers to a person's heyday when somebody was at the peak of his/her abilities—not necessarily in that person's youth." The product itself when i read that back had properties that i feel would suit my needs, here is a description i read on the bottle as well as the ingredients:
SALAD DAYS BODY SCRUB Exfoliates, moisturizes and smooths 16 oz / 473 mL Reclaim those long-ago days of youthful exuberance with Salad Days Body Scrub. Jojoba Esters scrub away at pores, sweeping off pesky dead skin cells. Natural lime, lemon and orange fruit extracts soften and moisturize skin. Foaming lather rinses away, leaving skin clean, polished and renewed. Helps prep the body for self-tanning, if you're into that sort of thing. Directions Rub over your wet body into a nice lather and then rinse. Use a few times a week. For best results follow with Billy Jealousy's Sake Bomb Body Moisturizer. Key Ingredients• Jojoba Esters: Exfoliate dead skin cells • Sage Extract: Purifies and tones skin • Peppermint Extract: Antioxidant; moisturizes and stimulates circulation • Aloe Vera Gel: Soothes, softens and moisturizes • Lemon, Orange and Lime Extracts: Nourish and refresh skin ColorLight Blue ConsistencyGel ScentSage, citrus, mint and patchouli accords IngredientsWater, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Polysorbate 20, Polyethylene, Triethanolamine , Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate, Glycerin, Fragrance, Jojoba Esters, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Extract, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Leaf Extract, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Tetrasodium EDTA, Diazolidinyl Urea, DMDM Hydantoin What i really liked when i read what it consisted of was that it used jojoba beads to exfoliate the skin, this technique allowed a strong exfoliation and removal of dead skin cells without scratching the surface off the skin, jojoba beads are round and they roll off the dead skin rather then scraping them off like an apricot scrub would. Also its a great prep for self tanning because its a gel based body wash that wont leave too much oil/cream moisture on the skin so that your self tanner can apply evenly. I am 5 mins away from taking a shower and testing the product out wish me luck, and don't be JEALOUS! here is the ad for the vintage photo sessions offered at the sapphire salon this will be in the weekender on Wednesday, May 30th 2012...

But Recently i discovered they do wonders for my skin! I recently picked up some samples from Juice Beauty to be more specific their Sensitive Peel being that i want to stop pre-mature aging, i have sensitive skin that tends to be combination but a little more dry and have easily clogged pores.... This peel you just put all over your face and wait ten minutes then rinse off!!! and voila fresh vibrant clear new skin!!! it feels soft, no irritation and hydrated, i obviously used a moisturizer when i was finished this time i used their cell repair lotion.. They now have alicia silverstone as their spokes person for the products and she herself has a signature line which includes chamomile products and makeup, i am eager to try their whole line, maybe i can find a nice cream cleanser that i can pair with my Clairsonic that i want.. lemme know if there is any cream cleansers that you recommend to use with the clairsonic that are hydrating deep cleansing and sensitive....
